7:30 AM Intensive Program Registration opens. HOTEL MEETING ROOMS LOBBY Continental Breakfast for Intensive Attendees.All Intensive programs take place between 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. These programs are NOT included in the conference tuition
1:30 PM Conference Registration opens. HOTEL MEETING ROOMS LOBBY
1:30 PM-2:30 PM YOUR CAREER STARTS HERE. JUST FOR NEW ARRIVALS-This is a nuts and bolts beginners session that will answer all those burning questions new conference-goers come armed with.
2:00 PM-5:00 PM Manuscript Critique and Portfolio Review Sessions. You must check in at the registration desk before checking in at the Critique/Review desk. These sessions are NOT included in the conference tuition. PLEASE NOTE: Critique and review sessions are scheduled ONLY for Friday SEPTEMBER 28, 2018.

8:00 AM We have a full schedule Saturday beginning with our opening keynote with C. M. SURRISI and many breakout sessions, ending our sessions with our First Pages SESSION.
6:00 PM-8:00 PM Don’t miss our Saturday Social—a time to mix with faculty and other attendees over a buffet meal and cash bar, browse the Portfolio Showcase and get your favorite books autographed by our faculty and attending PAL members, followed by our famous Author’s Roundtable and Red Eye Critiques.

We begin with two sets of breakout sessions starting at 8:00 AM including The Illustrator Café with First Impressions. And make sure to join us for our conference Farewell keynote with and our awarding one 2020 conference tuition door prize, The William Hooks Conference Scholarship, to those in attendance.
