Workshop Description

Worried about the right age audience for your novel? In this class we’ll learn what writers of all young voices can improve upon and discuss the differences in voice and character growth using first pages of published novels.

Attendees will be asked to send two pages of their work in advance for potential inclusion in the discussion.

Email your two pages of your work to scbwiccritiques@gmail.com by September 15th.

Bio

Katie Grimm is an agent at Don Congdon Associates.

She represents and is seeking adult literary fiction, young adult, and middle grade with a heartbeat and sense of purpose.

She’ll always be interested in the darker and weirder side of human history, previously under- or misrepresented experiences, and narratives that contribute to a larger cultural conversation.

She currently splits her time between New York and North Carolina and is actively seeking new voices from the South.
