Webinar description:
An introductory class for illustrators on scanning, polishing, and formatting your art using Adobe Photoshop.
This course will cover topics including:
- Scanner settings and scanning
- Adjusting colors, values, and tones
- Sharpening line art
- Cleaning up final art
- Removing backgrounds
- Adjusting sketches and final art
- Using digital media for preliminary work
- Formatting for web and print
Each registrant will also receive comprehensive PDF tutorials for all techniques covered in the class, as well as a resource page of links to further tutorials.
Bio:
Kelsey holds a bachelor’s in Medieval and Early Modern Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Illustrating primarily in traditional watercolor and gouache, she also writes picture books, adult fantasy, YA fantasy, adult literary fiction, and graphic novel shorts.
Living in a forest of books, she can frequently be found napping with her snow wolf or wandering in the woods.
