The Mentor Class

SCBWI Carolinas Revision Quest is a program designed for a writer to work one-on-one with a published author who will analyze every aspect of your manuscript. You maintain a regular exchange of your work and receive input from your mentor in return, building a writer’s basic knowledge of critical craft skills, including such elements as narrative arc, characterization, dialogue and conflict and resolution.

The program, which lasts for four months, is designed to improve not only your manuscript but your overall writing skills. It is not a promise you will be published.
